the members of Warwick School Interact Club.

This month saw the end of another very worthwhile year for the members of Warwick School Interact Club. The 24 members who come from the forth and fifth forms were very busy with their fundraising. In April they successfully organised a quiz night and a cake sale which together generated £652 which was given to the ‘Sight for Surrey’ and ‘Comic Relief’ charities.

Last term they raised £850 for ‘Macmillan Nurses’ and ‘Children in Need’ . Altogether in the last year they have produced £1,500 for charity and , just as important, they have had a lot of fun along the way.

The club is open to all members of the school and meet at lunchtime to decide on which charities to support and what fundraising events to arrange. Their teamwork and careful planning produce the excellent results although the members all say they do it for the fun and satisfaction they get from it.

The club is supported by the Rotary Club of Reigate as part of their Youth Services programme.
